ACCESS Welcomes Its First Scholar Cohort
The ACCESS Scholarship Program held its first official meeting with the inaugural scholar cohort on December 1, 2025. The activity introduced scholars to the purpose, mission, vision, objectives, benefits, mentoring structure, scholarship regulations, rights, responsibilities, data collection procedures, academic continuity criteria, and available support services of the program.
The meeting also provided scholars with an opportunity to meet the ACCESS leadership team, learn about the faculty and peer mentoring model, review program expectations, and begin building a sense of community within the first ACCESS cohort.
This activity marked an important milestone in the implementation of ACCESS as the program officially began supporting its first group of scholars in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
